Four Seasons Golf Club Mauritius at Anahita is preparing to welcome some of the world's top golfing professionals this May during the hosting of the 2016 AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open - a tri-sanctioned tournament that includes players from the European Tour, Asian Tour and Sunshine Tour.

The Ernie Els Design course will see 126 golfing pros take to the greens, with some of the first names to be announced including Jeev Milkh Singh, a former number one from the Asian Tour and Captain of Asia at EurAsia 2016; Nicolas Colsaerts, winner of two professional titles on the European Tour; and Hennie Otto and Thomas Levet, each of whom have secured 12 professional titles.

With the tournament offering a prize fund of EUR 1,000,000, there will be strong competition on the golf course, which features no less than six oceanfront holes in its scenic east coast location. The four-day event will take place May 12-15, 2016 at Four Seasons Golf Club Mauritius at Anahita, with entrance tickets available to the public for attendance on either a daily or four-day event pass.

Since March 2008, the 18-hole, par 72 Ernie Els Design course has welcomed golfers from all around the world, with complimentary golf offered to all guests staying at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita. Practice facilities at Four Seasons Golf Club include a professional Golf Academy complete with video swing analysis technology, a 320 metre driving range, and putting and chipping greens.
