Families looking to get active during the Easter and May half-term holidays can enjoy late discounts of up to 20 per cent on sunshine breaks at Spain's multi-award-winning La Manga Club. Bookable until March 31, the savings are available to anyone booking a two or three-bedroom apartment or townhouse in the resort's Las Lomas Village for breaks taken from the start of next month until June 30.

La Manga Club, in Murcia, south-east Spain, offers the perfect solution for active families seeking a sporty holiday, with tennis, golf, football, rugby, cycling and triathlon just some of the different sports that can be enjoyed.

The resort will be running a number of sports and leisure academies for all the family over the Easter and May half-term school holidays including golf and tennis.

The Leadbetter Golf Academy - the only one in mainland Spain - is featuring a number of special tuition packages for children including a four-hour, under-nine academy, with further options for youngsters in the under-15 and under-17 age groups.

Alternatively, players of all ages can brush up their tennis technique at La Manga Club's outstanding 28-court tennis centre. The official overseas training base of the Lawn Tennis Association until 2019, star players including British number ones Andy Murray and Johanna Konta have all used the resort's facilities to train over the last decade.

Families seeking a touch of luxury for their stay can book a family room - two double rooms interconnected - in La Manga Club's five-star Hotel Principe Felipe, or benefit from a 'seven nights for the price of six' offer when booking a deluxe room.
